Where: Online, sign up for free here
Who: Gavin Starks, CEO & Founder, Icebreaker One, will discuss how the energy sector can learn from Open Banking.
What:

Open Energy, an Icebreaker One project, could revolutionise the energy sector in the same way that open banking – a regulated way to give companies access to financial data – transformed the finance sector.

Open Energy is working to allow organisations to more easily exchange the information needed to phase out fossil fuels and to develop and effectively implement renewable energy technology.

It could help the energy sector transform at global scale in the same way that open banking (a regulated way to give companies access to financial data) revolutionised the finance sector.

What role does open and shared data play in that process? How can energy data be made open? What impact will it have on net zero? And what lessons can be learned from the success of Open Banking? Gavin Starks will deliver a presentation followed by a Q&A session.
